On March 11, 2026, HKSTP proudly hosted the GUIN Luncheon featuring Mr. Ken Jefferd, Managing Director of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (RIC) at the University of Melbourne.
The luncheon brought together distinguished university representatives and HKSTP leaders to explore opportunities for collaboration in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Keynote Introduction: Mr. Ken Jefferd shared the University of Melbourne’s vision for advancing research excellence, industry partnerships, IP commercialisation, and entrepreneurial programs such as MAP and TraM, alongside venture capital initiatives like the UoM Genesis Pre-Seed Fund and Tin Alley Ventures.
